AgroRobot is at the forefront of smart agriculture, developing cutting-edge robotic solutions to meet the evolving needs of farmers. Our flagship project is a smart weeder equipped with advanced object-recognition technology, designed to precisely identify and target plants. This innovation empowers farmers by automating the weeding process, maximizing efficiency, and reducing labor costs, all while contributing to more sustainable and productive agriculture.
In addition to our smart weeder, we are thrilled to be a key industry partner in a collaborative project: 24-00-C0LA1601-000018 with Riga Technical University (RTU) and Ltd 'Rigas Mezi'. This project focuses on developing a specialized weeder for forest greenhouses, with the goal of enhancing efficiency and precision in forestry nurseries. AgroRobot’s role in this initiative will be supported by a grant of up to €110,000, with a 90% co-financing intensity, allowing us to bring our expertise in agricultural robotics to the forestry sector and contribute to environmentally sustainable practices.
Our journey has also been supported by the representative office of LIAA Daugavpils, where we have been in the incubation support program since 2024. Over a period of three years, we will receive €55,000 in co-financed grants, which will help drive our research, development, and scaling efforts. LIAA has not only provided financial support but has also offered invaluable mentoring, education and networking opportunities that are helping us grow and refine our business.
